About Fr. Kelmy
Rev. Fr. Kelmy Rodriquez is an Ordained Catholic Priest, a Missionary Benedictine Monk, and is the Fellowship Corner's founder. This Christian-based organization strived to bring the Church of Christ to the homes of Christians who cannot attend a traditional church setting due to disabilities & geriatric status.
Fr. Kelmy is a former New York City Emergency Medical Specialist with years of experience working throughout New York City. A former Westchester County Emergency Medical Services Supervisor, Special Operations Division. He is a Homeless Prevention and Housing Preservation Specialist.
With such a demanding list of responsibilities, he still invests time volunteering as an Assistant Secretary at the Neighborhood Advisory Board #11, Department of Youth and Community Development, which covers the East Harlem community. During his leisure time, he enjoys being a Contributing Writer at GOD TV. This major Christian Broadcasting Network services the homes of millions of Christian throughout the world. Additionally, he serves as the New York City Elder for the National Association of Christian Ministers. The N.A.C.M. has a membership of approximately 30,000 Ordained Ministers who serve across the world establishing ministries and charity to the underserved.
Fr. Kelmy actively serves as a Trauma Chaplain for the M.T.A. New York City Transit and currently serves as Priest at the Celtic Cross Old Catholic Church. He also serves at All Saints Priory, Missionary Benedictines of the Poor in Ridgewood, New York.
He is a father of 4 children and has a Doctorate in Systematic Theology with a minor in Christian Counseling; he is currently pursuing a degree in Legal Studies where he has earned membership into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Fr. Kelmy has been a news contributor regarding Community Policing, Public Policy, Public Health, and Safety matters on various news networks such as CNN, WPIX 11, FOX 5, NBC 4, 1010 WINS, Telemundo 47, Univision 41, and Channel 7 Eyewitness News gaining national and international exposure.
He is a recipient of several New York State Assembly Citations for Exceptional Community Service, several New York State Senate Recognition Award for Public Service, a Humanitarian Award for Societal Contributions, a Special Congressional Recognition for Community Affairs, and multiple Live Save Commendations from the New York City Fire Department.
Fr. Kelmy is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Celtic Cross Seminary of Theology and is in the process of publishing his first book, "Axioms of An Urban Priest," "An Ongoing Journey of Revelations." His second book, "From the Gutter to GOD," is expected to be released in 2023.
